Clergy of the Society of Jesus who worked in Japan. He was born in Lisbon, around 1566, and died in Macau on 2nd June, 1649. He entered the Society when he was in Japan, in August, 1586. Then he moved on to Macau in 1592. Tertianship was completed in Macau between 11th January, 1601, and 10th January, 1602. In July 1602, already a priest, he returns to Japan, but goes back to Macau in January of the following year. In a time undetermined he was in India, but his name is recorded on the canons of the college of Macau in 1635. He professed the spiritual coadjutor vows on 21st September, 1612. |
