Clergy of the Society of Jesus who worked mostly in Japan. He was born in 1524 and died in 1579, most probably in Goa. In 1543 he was admitted to the Society of Jesus in Coimbra, then bequeathed it for a short while and was readmitted in Goa in 1548. He was in Japan between 14th August, 1552, and 19th October, 1553. Then he was sent to India in search of material help and stayed on, where he was in charge of a boys? college that was part of the S. Paulo one, in Goa.
