Clergy of the Society of Jesus who worked mostly in Japan. He was born in Villa Castín, in the diocese of Segovia, around 1551, and died in Macau on 28th May, 1618. He was admitted to the Society on 27th October, 1572, and arrived to Japan in July 1590. In 1592 he was teaching Latin in Kawachinoura. In February 1598 he left for Macau, but in October 1603 was back in Japan. From this date on he always worked in Nagasaki and was in charge of the typographer's. In the Jesuit list of February 1613 he is referred to as being responsible for the spiritual guidance of some nearby villages. He returned definitely to Macau in November 1614.
