Clergy of the Society of Jesus who worked mostly in Japan. He was born in Gifu around 1583 and was admitted to the Society in 1607, having worked as a novice at Todos os Santos seminary. In February 1613 he worked as a preacher in the Nagasaki region. He left for exile in Macau in November 1614, where he carried on teaching the Japanese writing. He was dismissed from the Society in 1617 but in 1625 declared his wish to be readmitted.
