Diogo de Melo

This nobleman was the son of João de Melo. In 1507, he left as captain of Vasco Gomes de Abreu's fleet. According to João de Barros, this captain and Martim Coelho had been instructed to accompany Afonso de Albuquerque in the fleet of the Arabian Sea. He died serving this governor.
