Clergy from the Society of Jesus who worked in Japan. He was born in 1565 in Yamashiro, the son of Joana, a Christian noblewoman. He joined the Society August 1586 and specialized in the refutation of the native religions. He was responsible for the Jesuit edition of Heike Monogatari and authored Myotei Mondo. He was one of the Japanese brothers who participated in the General Consultation of the Jesuits, convocated by Alexander Valignano, which was held August 1590. Then, he was referred to as "Fabian of Kami". Between 1603 and 1607 he worked at the Miyako residence. His membership in the Society was terminated in 1608, for disrespecting the vow of chastity. According to the 1611 record, he lived with a woman in Hakata. He authored Ha Daisu (God Destroyed).
