Clergy of the Society of Jesus who worked mostly in Japan. He was born in Taranto, Italy, in 1577, and died in Macau on 28th June, 1618. He was admitted to the Society on 1st November, 1596. In 1603 he left from Goa to Macau, where he studied Theology at the Madre de Deus College. In 1605 he reached Japan and started to study Japanese at the Arima residence. In 1606 he moved to Bungo, where he worked under the command of Pedro Paulo Navarro. In 1612 he was sent to inaugurate a residence in this province, in Shiga, which he was responsible for until the expulsion edict. He left for exile in Macau in November 1614 and there he professed the four vows in August 1616.
