Palenço

He was Captain in one of the ships of the fleet commanded by Lançarote de Lagos, in 1445, with destination to the west coast of Africa. He was a practised man in the ways of the sea and in combating the Moor, according to Gomes Eanes de Zurara, a Portuguese chronicler.
