Clergy of the Society of Jesus who worked mostly in Japan. He was born in Moura around 1550 and died in 1612. He was admitted to the Society on 28th December 1568, having reached Japan in July 1590. He professed the vows of spiritual coadjutor before October 1603. The 1603 and 1604 catalogues mention him as always being at the Isahaya residence. In 1611 he was sent to Macau, where he still was in 1612. He died on that year when travelling from Macau to Japan on board a Japanese vessel that was attacked by Chinese, who massacred crew and passengers.
