Clergy of the Society of Jesus who worked mostly in Japan.He was born in Santiago, around 1558, and died in Goa, in 1624. He entered the Society in India, in March 1579 and returned to Japan in August 1586. He took vows as temporal coadjutor on 29 November 1592, in Amakusa; by then he was in the Hachirao seminar, where he took care of the boys. He went to Macau with Dom Pedro Martins, in 1597, but he returned the next year. He was a companion to bishop Dom Luís Cerqueira, at least from 1603 until the prelate died. He then became procurator and administrator of the bishop's estate. He left for exile in Macau in November 1614. In 1618 he was still in Macau, but two years latter he was in India. He died in Goa.
