Clergy of the Society of Jesus who worked in Japan. He was born in Medina del Campo around 1552 and died in Ikitsuki on 23 July, 1590. He joined the Society in October 1571, arriving in Japan in 1577. In December 1579, he went back to Macau only to return to Japan in July of the following year, already ordained a priest. In 1582 he was the superior at the Miyako residence. He worked at the Funai (Oita) and Shimonoseki houses 1586-87. His death was tainted by the suspicion that he might have been poisoned by order of the daimyo of Hirado.
