Clergy of the Society of Jesus who worked mainly in Japan. He was born in Veneto, around 1546, and died in Arima, in April 1593. He joined the Society in 1569 or in 1570. He arrived in Japan in 1578; he started by working in Ômura, and we know of his permanence in the residences of Kuri (1579) and Sonogi (1581); after that, we find him in the Takayama Ukon territory; in 1582 he was the superior of the house of Takatsuki and afterwards he accompanied the passage of the warrior to Akashi, where we find him in October 1586. In 1590 he was the superior of Gotô and in 1592 of Hirado. He became a spiritual coadjutor in Hachirao, in November 1592. He died in Arima, probably after having been poisoned in Hirado, just like it happened, for example, to Jorge Carvalhal.
